She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering and has over 15 years of experience across industry, academia, and consulting. Her expertise includes supply chain engineering, procurement, lean operations, sustainability, and data-driven decision-making. She has led and contributed to numerous industrial and research projects and has published extensively in high-impact international journals.

PhD in Artificial Intelligence
Prof. Abu Zitar (BS 88, MS 90, and PhD 93), is currently a Professor at Liwa University. Before, he was a senior research scientist within the context of Thales Endowed Chair of Excellence, Sorbonne Center of Artificial Intelligence (SCAI), Sorbonne University- Abu Dhabi, UAE. Prof. Abu Zitar has joined SCAI-SUAD in February 2021. He is directing the research at Thales/SCAI in the fields of Intelligent detection and tracking of drones in cooperation with industrial experts from Thales www.thalesgroup.com . Prior to that date, he was the founding coordinator of the Master of Artificial Intelligence Program and Manager for the Teaching and Learning Center at Ajman University, Ajman, UAE. He has more than 30 years of experience in teaching, research, and administration distributed in the USA, Jordan, and the UAE. He has published more than 120 Journal and conference publications in the fields of machine learning, neural networks, and artificial intelligence.

Dr. Rasha Samir Mohamed is an Assistant Professor of Media and Public Relations with extensive academic, research, and administrative experience across Egypt, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates. She holds a Ph.D. in Public Relations from Helwan University (2016), with research specializing in organizational reputation management, social communication, and digital media applications. She was awarded a UK Fellowship for higher education teaching standards in 2020 and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of the Saudi Association for Public Relations and Advertising.
Dr. Rasha has held multiple leadership roles, including Director of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Unit at Al-Shorouq Academy, Head of the Communication and Multimedia Department at the University College of Bahrain, and various committee chair positions in quality assurance, program development, teaching and learning, and community engagement. She currently serves as Assistant Professor at Liwa University (UAE).
